Alive on 25 is dedicated to building our Downtown to be a place where people want to live, work, play and learn. By hosting a series of street festivals we look to stimulate economic growth while providing benefits for our community and historic Downtown. By utilizing creative placemaking we will unite our community and stimulate our local economy with the use of music, art, food & beverage offerings and education.
In the inaugural year of 2016, approx 5,000-7,000 people came out each one of the 4 nights and the positive response from the community, local businesses and vendors was wide-spread. Our second year saw up to 8,000 people attending the events. Now in our 4th year, we anticipate the best turnout yet! On July 3rd the Town of Riverhead will host it’s annual fireworks show with the first Alive on 25.
Each of the four Alive on 25 events are free for the public to enjoy. These events showcase local craft beverages, downtown restaurants, live music, artists, street vendors and numerous other activities to enjoy. The festival starts at 5PM and ends around 9:30PM.
On Peconic Ave. Enjoy a street lined with all kinds of cars from the classic to whatever shows up that night!
What sets us apart from all other street festivals is we have live music right in Main Street. Walk up and down our event and find all kinds of music to listen to.
We are a family friendly event! You will find plenty of free things to do with your kids. Bubblepalooza, Rock Wall climbing, Paintball (small fee) and more! Please stay with your children under the age of 16!
Visit a Main Street restaurant to cool off from the heat! But if they are too busy and the children are too little - or you want to try something new - we have more than 12 unique & friendly food vendors serving you seafood to gyros to gourmet burgers.
July 3rd, we will present our fireworks spectacular by Bay Fireworks. The show will take place around 9PM in Grangebel Park.
We are loaded with quality vendors - clothing, jewelry and more!
